South Florida SunsetNaples Beach and Pier
The Naples City beach stretches 6 miles from Gordon Pass on the south side to Doctors Pass on the north side. Naples City beach is easily accessible. Parking for the beach is available at the western end of most residential streets between 7th Avenue North and 19th Avenue South (26 blocks of parking). Many of the access points also have an outdoor shower available for rinsing. The Naples Fishing Pier is located at the west end of 12th Avenue South where plenty of parking is also available.

The Naples Pier is near the midway point of Naples Beach where you can walk 3 miles south to Gordon Pass, or 3 miles north to Doctors Pass. The area on and around the pier usually has interesting activities and a refreshment stand sits on the pier.

Pelicans are regular visitors there and you can find them begging for leftovers from the fisherman. Dolphins, schools of stingrays, and fish can also be seen from the pier.

Barefoot Beach Preserve – Collier County Park
Located about 300 feet from the western end of Bonita Beach Road is a turn south onto Lely Barefoot Beach Blvd. At the entrance to the Blvd is a guard gate for the Lely community, just drive through on your way to the Barefoot Beach Preserve. The 342-acre park is an undeveloped barrier island that includes many trails and boardwalks. Park Rangers conduct interpretive sessions and guided canoe tours. Wildlife and turtles can be abundant at times. Because Barefoot Beach is such a popular destination, it is possible available parking could fill by mid-afternoon during the busy season. Delnor-Wiggins Pass – State Park
This Florida State Park is located at the western end of Immokalee Road just south of where the Cocohatchee River empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The park is a lush wildlife habitat with mangroves covering 80% of the area. The park offers several shaded picnic and grilling areas along the length of the beach. A concession stand is available that offers food, drinks, and beach items. A bathhouse is also available with changing stalls. Phone 239.597.6196.

This park is at the western end of Vanderbilt Beach Road. A parking lot is available off of Vanderbilt Road on the south side of the street. Vanderbilt beach is located near several hotels; concessions and water sports rentals are available.

Clam Pass – Collier County Park
This park is at the western end of Pine Ridge Road. There’s a boardwalk that winds through the mangroves to the beach from the parking area. A small admission is charged. Golf cart trolleys will ferry those not wishing to walk. There is a concession stand and the rental stand has towels, chairs, and beach umbrellas, along with a wide assortment of beach gear, windsurfers, canoes, Hobie Cats, and aqua bikes for rent.

Lowdermilk Park – City of Naples Park
Lowdermilk Park is at the very northern end of Naples City Beach, just off of Gulf Shore Blvd. The landscaped area next to the beach has a playground facility, pavilion, bathhouse, and a concession stand. The beach is a short walk from the parking area.

Baker Park – City of Naples, FL Park

The newest of all the Naples parks, this park offers something for everyone. Watch jets land and takeoff, pet friendly, walking paths, recreation, outdoor grills, picnic areas, and restrooms. The park is named for Jay and Patty Baker. The Baker family donated $2 million to the project. Jay Baker is the retired president of Kohl’s department stores. Patty Baker is a Tony Award-winning Broadway producer. Baker Park Open is open 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
